BASIC ECONOMY

Please note that basic economy is the most economic fare offered by airlines. There are several restrictions in place, including but not limited to the following: strict change and cancellation policies, no included baggage, seat selection at check-in only or in advance for a fee, last of passengers to board the aircraft.

Basic Economy Cancellation Policy

Basic economy-class ticket sales are final, and flights are non-refundable and non-transferrable. To cancel or correct any itineraries, please contact the airline directly within 24 hours of booking. If departure date and time are more than one week, you may cancel within 24 hours after booking for a refund.

Basic Economy Schedule Changes

For basic economy-class tickets that require a schedule change, new return or departure dates are at the discretion of the airline. Voluntarily changing dates is not guaranteed and is subject to approval by the airline. Please contact your airline for more information.

CHECK-IN FOR YOUR FLIGHT

Always check into your flight online via your airline's website, and either print your boarding pass or have the pass added to your mobile wallet when possible. Your airline may charge for these services, and the cost may be higher at the airport.

Advanced passenger information must be added before your flight details where applicable.

Seats

Seat selections are not guaranteed until check-in, regardless of the class of service booked. Some seats come with restrictions that must be followed and all seat requests are managed at the sole discretion of the airline.

For the most accurate and up-to-date seat information, we recommend confirming directly with your airline prior to travel.

Baggage

Each airline outlines their individual baggage policies such as pricing, requirements, measurements, restrictions and carry-on specifications. Please refer to your airline’s website for more information.

Change and Cancel

Correcting Passenger Names

Please ensure that all traveler names are an exact match with the name on their passport or government-issued photo ID. Name corrections are regulated by the airline’s penalty rules and in line with international security measures. Airlines do not generally allow modifications to the name. Where a name change is required, tickets may need to be cancelled and re-purchased. If you require a name change, please call us immediately and one of our flight specialists will assist you.

Voluntary Changes

All voluntary changes are subject to a ticket re-issue fee in the amount of $35 USD per passenger, as well as any additional itinerary price increases where applicable.

Canceling Your Flight

In the case that you need to cancel your flight, please call us immediately and one of our flight specialists will assist you.

Flight Credits

Commonly, flight credits from a cancelled reservation are valid for one year from the initial purchase date and not based on the cancellation or travel dates. The expiration date on those credits cannot be extended. Credits from cancelled domestic fares may only be applied to domestic flights. Likewise, credits from cancelled international fares may only be applied to international flights. Any differences in fare price may be covered out-of-pocket. All flight credits are subject to each airline's policies.

Frontier Bookings

For changes to Frontier bookings, please reach out to Frontier directly. This airline has specific policies and procedures in place, and has asked that our members get in touch with their team directly for any requested alterations.

Airline Schedule Changes

At times, airlines may make a change to your flight schedule or cancel a flight altogether without reason. If you are notified of a change and require that further action be taken, please call us immediately and one of our flight specialists will assist in reviewing the airline's policy and finding an alternative option. Options may include rebooking on a similar flight or canceling altogether with the issuance of a future flight credit. Again, all options are subject to the airline's individual policies.

Payment & Receipt

Prior to placing a reservation with the airline, we will always pre-authorize the credit card entered at the time of booking. A pre-authorization is a temporary hold to confirm funds with your financial institution. In some rare cases, a fare that you are attempting to book may either sell out or is no longer available at the price quoted. When this occurs, no actual charges are made to the credit card. The bank will release the hold at their discretion, typically up to 72 hours after the initial pre-authorization is made.

Unaccompanied Minors

For policies regarding unaccompanied minors, please refer to your airline’s policy. For help coordinating travel for an unaccompanied minor, please call us and one of our flight specialists will be happy to assist.
