Pre-Cruise To Dos

Bon Voyage!

Before You Sail

  • Check-in on your cruise line’s website and print out boarding documents.
  • Locate your pier address and arrange transportation to and from.
  • Alert your bank and credit cards about your travel plans.
  • Obtain small bills or foreign currency for shopping, tipping, taking a bus or taxi, or in case of emergency.
  • Ask your cell phone company about international travel plans, per-minute, data, and text rates for your destinations.
  • Contact the post office to hold your mail.

Packing For Your Cruise

Bring clothing and accessories appropriate for your on and off-ship experiences and destinations. Check with your cruise line for specific theme nights and parties.
Don’t Forget
  • Camera
  • Essential toiletries & medications
  • Glasses and contacts
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Personal first-aid kit
  • Foreign language dictionary (if applicable)

On Cruise Day

Don’t Forget
  • Bring your Passport and all applicable visas for identification.
  • Arrive a minimum of 4-5 hours prior to your scheduled departure time for the boarding process. All passengers must be checked in and onboard the cruise at least two hours before departure time. Missing this window could deny you boarding access.

TRAVEL TIP: It can take a few hours for your luggage to be delivered to you cabin, so prepare a small carry-on bag with travel and identification documents, medication, health insurance cards, money, and valuables, and anything else you will need right away and don’t want to risk losing.
